This site is not a company, brokerage, or financial institution — it's a personal project that publishes automatically generated market commentary. What this site is
Silver Market Intelligence is a static informational page. There are no user accounts, no logins, no comment sections, and no forms that collect personal information. The price, outlook, and news data shown on the page are generated automatically on a schedule and are the same for every visitor — nothing here is personalized to you.
Data collected automatically
Like virtually any website, some technical information is generated just by visiting this page:
- Hosting logs. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, as the hosting provider, may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps as part of operating its infrastructure. This site's owner does not have access to or control over these logs — they're covered by GitHub's own privacy statement.
- Google Fonts. This page loads two typefaces from Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font this way sends your IP address to Google as part of the request. No cookies are set by this and Google states this traffic isn't used to build advertising profiles, but the request itself is made to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Cookies
This site does not currently set any cookies of its own. If advertising is added in the future (see below), this section will be updated before any ad-related cookies go live, and visitors in the UK, EU, and Switzerland will be shown a consent choice before any personalized advertising cookies are set.
Advertising (planned)
This site intends to run Google AdSense in the future to help support its costs. Once that's live, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads and measure their performance. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland will be shown a consent management prompt — certified under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework, as required by Google's policies — before any personalized ads or related cookies are served. You will always be able to decline personalized advertising; declining does not affect your ability to read the site. If you are located in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. Since this site does not collect or store personal data directly (see above), most of these requests would need to be directed to the relevant third party — GitHub for hosting logs, or Google for font/advertising requests. You're also always welcome to contact ladisasimone@gmail.com with any question, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes — most notably once advertising actually goes live. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
